On Sunday 9 November, St Gabriel’s will be pleased to play its part in a joint Remembrance Sunday service at 10.45 a.m. at the Running Airman Memorial on Gibson Drive.
The Uniformed Organisations will be mustering at 10.30 a.m. at the recently renovated Control Tower in Kings Hill and marching from there to the Airman Memorial in time for the 10.45 start.
Members of the Public are welcome to join the parade, stand along the route and follow on behind or gather at the Memorial and wait for the parade to arrive.
An outdoor service will be held, with involvement from our own Rev David Green and led this year by Rev Matt Ross, the Pastor of Kings Hill Christian Fellowship.
All are welcome to come and pay their respects to those who make the ultimate sacrifice in wars both past and present, and to pray for peace in our world today.
