St Gabriel’s Vision Day this Sunday

A photo of an empty country roadIt’s exciting times at St Gabriel’s with so much going on. We’re now recruiting for a full-time Minister to join our staff team, representations and contributions are being made to the planning process for King Hill phase III, the Diocese are looking at parish  boundaries and buildings and, most important of all, we’re often able to welcome new faces young and old amongst our congregation.

With so much happening and so much having happened in the last 18 months since our re-launch in March 2013, now is a great chance to reflect together and look ahead at our church life and what lies ahead.

This coming Sunday, things will be a little different. At 9.30 a.m. we will gather as usual for worship, but after a short act of worship, we will be working in groups to think about our vision and the road ahead for our church.

The morning will finish at 1.00 p.m. with lunch and there will be coffee breaks and other activities along the way as we devote some time together to thinking and talking and praying about the church’s common life.

We’re also very glad to welcome team members from Life & Soul, Tunbridge Wells who will be running children’s work for the morning and helping our kids to join in with our vision-casting.

If you’ve come regularly to St Gabriel’s or you’ve just come once in a while, whether you are five or ninety-five, everyone is welcome to come and take part.
