Christmas 2016

There will be a full compliment of services on Kings Hill over Christmas, some shared with the Christian Fellowship.

 

Start your Christmas by singing traditional Carols around the Christmas  tree at Liberty Square at 5pm on the 10th December.

Hear all the schools on Kings Hill tell the Christmas story through song.carols-around-the-christmas-tree_2_withliberty_3

Join the Mayor and many others for this new event generously support by Liberty Property Trust.

Why not make a lantern, to bring with you, or vote for you favourite carol. The Spitfire will be serving Mulled Wine and Mince pies after the event and some of the shops in Liberty Square will be open to pick up those important gifts.

Through this new community event will also collecting items for two Charities at the control tower.

Pilsdon West Malling

Single Bed fitted sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers (suitable for men and women) for the Pilsdon Community in West Malling, so they can renew the hospitality they offer to those in Crises.

New toys suitable for all ages as outlined on the above link wi
ll be collected to help make sure all children receive a gift on Christmas day.

You will also be able to pick up your Children’s Society Christingle collection candle to fill up over the following week which you can return the on the 18th December at 4pm at the Churches on Kings Hill annual Christingle Service which will raise money for The Children’s Society.

On Christmas Eve, 4pm at the Discovery School join people of all ages for our Scratch Nativity and Christmas Crafts. Grab some mulled wine and a mince pie whilst making some hand made last minute Christmas presents between 4-4.45pm and then young and old are invited to come dressed up (or use our costumes) and be part of Kings Hill’s very own Nativity play.

 

 

 

On Christmas Day, 10am at the Discovery School, we will be celebrating the birth of Christ with a lively family communion service (where young and old can show off something new). We will start with coffee and mince pies.
